Carl can perhaps be best described as a social entrepreneur – always striving to find solutions to societies’ most pressing needs in new and innovative ways. Carl has also received numerous awards. Living in the Garden Route for the past decade has seen this entrepreneur identifying a beneficial relationship between local tourism for the area and social upliftment – the establishment of ECHO and GR&KK Pass is the culmination of this vision.
Barbara has developed her entrepreneurial skills over the past 20 years living in the Garden Route by being involved in the establishment of a variety of ventures. Having spent the past 20 years in the George, Barbara developed a strong passion for the beauty that the area has to offer and driven by the need for adequate publicity and marketing, the GR&KK Pass was developed.
When the going gets tough, we need ordinary people of extraordinary strength and courage to jolt us into action and offer us hope. Alison’s story is a riveting drama of how a courageous woman found the inner strength to triumph over intense physical and emotional trauma. As a resident of the Garden Route for a number of years, her passion, enthusiasm for life and recognition of the beauty that surrounds us makes her a great asset to the GR&KK Pass and ECHO.
